Tattvaa Yogpeeth in Rishikesh, India, wants to know more about your yoga background
before you arrive, and thus, all participants must fill out a registration form that's
already there on our website so that we can get brief information about your motivation behind doing Yoga.
Yoga is best for everyone, regardless of age, body, gender, and background, and the only
essential factors are an applicant's openness and willingness to learn. At Tattvaa Yogpeeth,
we welcome everyone to learn and deepen their knowledge of Yoga. However, our yoga teacher
training programs are rigorous, and we consider a few below points when looking at our
applicants to ensure you have a rewarding experience.
How long have you been practising
Level of interest and dedication
Practice Style
Yoga Exposure
Teaching Motivation
Overall health condition
We recommend that you arrive with an established practice and knowledge of the Ashtanga yoga system
to optimize your experience with us. While reviewing your application, we look primarily at your level
of interest and yoga background.
The Ashtanga Yoga Intermediate Series is a highly demanding and dynamic practice requiring high levels
of endurance and determination. Therefore we ask the applicant to have a strong foundation in Primary
Series and optimal health before doing Intermediate Series training to ensure that you get the most
out of your training and prevent injury or over-exertion.
The more established your practice is before arriving, the deeper the benefits you will reap,
the more complete your understanding of adjustments will be, the more enjoyable pranayama will be,
and the more rewarding your whole experience.
Program extensions are possible by mutual agreement and depend on room and course availability.
You are welcome to stay longer and practice with us if you feel inspired, but remember that
your additional stay would be chargeable separately.
Yoga teaches us to be flexible, both in body and mind! Therefore, changes are possible,
but please note that a student can transfer from one course to another only once and at
least one month before starting that course to attend a different approach instead.
If you cannot come, you can send someone to your place or contact us so we can let those waitlisted individuals know.
We are happy for you to join our program without committing to the entire training course.
However, Tattvaa Yogpeeth in Rishikesh, India, offers yoga classes for a minimum of one week
to get the system's full benefits. So, if you would only like to come for a few days,
we recommend trying our drop-in classes to enhance your mental, physical, and spiritual health.
